Qualified, Experienced and Professional Mobile Mechanic

Tim has been a qualified automotive technician for 28 years, with dealership experience on Nissan, Jeep, Chrysler, Audi and Porsche vehicles. With a love of all things cars, he’s been involved in a variety of car and racing clubs, restoration projects and four wheel driving. With this experience, he has developed extensive knowledge to diagnose and fix any automotive problem.

Completing his apprenticeship at Nissan and Chrysler Jeep, and becoming a Jeep Master Technician, Tim went on to Porsche Centre Melbourne for nine years. He fine tuned his skills on Audi’s and Porsches, updating his skills to a Porsche Master Technician status.

Chasing a sense of adventure, the family moved to Western Australia, where Tim established himself as a field mechanic, before becoming a supervisor for Fortescue Metals Group in the Pilbara for four years. Ditching the desk for the dirt, Tim went back to his passion of fixing cars, creating the Under The Sun Mobile Mechanic business. He soon expanded his automotive knowledge to include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volkswagen.

Successfully operating Under The Sun for three years in Western Australia, Tim moved the business and family to Noosa for the sunshine, beaches, sense of community and to see the kids through the high school years.
